There are many ways you can help us out. The best way to get involved is by putting yourself on our email list. You will be sent regular updates and you will be notified when we are looking for people for specific activities. We may ask you to attend an event with us, paint a banner, or help us in the office. Perhaps you have specific skills you can offer. If this is the case, we’d love to hear from you.

VANCOUVER: Greenpeace Activists & Volunteers Occupy Downtown Enbridge Office!
(July 2010) Greenpeace volunteers and activists occupied Enbridge’s downtown Vancouver office for over 24 hours successfully sending a strong message to the pipeline giant that it must not build its planned twin 1,170-kilometre Northern Gateway Pipelines from Alberta’s tar sands to Kitimat in northern B.C.’s Great Bear Rainforest. Thank you to everyone involved, especially those 4 activists who were arrested and charged. Our support is with you!

A Canadian Greenpeace Team has returned from their expedition to the Gulf of Mexico where they spent more than a week bearing witness to the BP oil spill which has transformed and devastated communities, ecosystems and economies after raging on for over 80 days.
They are back in Canada now and Stephanie Goodwin, Greenpeace BC Director, will present the team’s personal experiences through stories, photos, videos and calls to action.

Greenpeace Vancouver Volunteers Target Nestle's destruction of rainforests for Palm Oil
In April, Greenpeace volunteers called out Nestle, the makers of kitkat bars (among many other products) for contributing to the destruction of the home of endangered orang-utans by purchasing palm oil from companies that are cutting down Indonesian rainforests for palm oil plantations. Read more »

A group of Greenpeace activists interrupted a speech by Liberal Leader Michael Ignatieff in Vancouver on Friday when several protesters stood up and began chanting loudly against his stance on Canada’s oil sands.
